Starting this week the 10:30 am Sunday service will be returning INDOORS for anyone wishing to attend in person. Masks are still required, and we will continue to ask people to maintain social distancing by having no more than three people per pew. Communion will be distributed in bread only. The service will also be live-streamed for those who watch remotely — either on Facebook at www.facebook.com/stbenslososos/ or through our website at https://www.stbenslososos.org/facebook-including-live-stream/

Announcements
IT’S ABOUT TIME! (full time, that is) – We are delighted to report that the Parish Council has voted to raise our Rector’s compensation from three-quarter status to full-time beginning July 1st. We are deeply grateful to God for Caro+’s ministry and for the abundance which makes this adjustment possible.
RECTOR’S VACATION – Caro+ will be away on a short vacation from Tuesday, June 29th through Saturday, July 3rd. In her absence, the wardens will handle church business.
EARTHCARE – There will be a special meeting of Earthcare, St. Ben’s environmental advocacy group, on Thursday at 10am to work on completing the Study Guide. (Zoom).
LAUNDRY LOVE – Our monthly laundry assistance program is held at Osos Clean Laundry on the last Wednesday of each month at 11am and 4pm.
CASH CONTRIBUTIONS – This being the last Sunday of the month the loose cash in the plate offering will be designated for the Rector’s Discretionary Fund, to help those in the parish or the wider community in need of emergency assistance. You may also contribute by check to St. Ben’s with “RDF” in the memo line. Thank you for your generosity.
LOVE IS THE WAY [Note change of starting date!] – Starting July 6th we will base our Tuesday morning Spiritual Conversation on “Love is the Way” by Presiding Bishop Michael Curry, reading three chapters each week for four weeks. Bishop Michael shares many stories which highlight the power of love – radical love which engages with the racism and oppression of our times. As usual you are welcome to join in whether or not you read the book! Tuesdays at 10:15 on Zoom, following Prayers for the Morning at 9:45.
VESPERS SERVICE CHANGE – Our Tuesday night Vespers service has returned to the church, but in order for people to still be able to participate from home we are experimenting with a hybrid format of both a zoom and in-person gathering. We hope you will join us – one way or the other – any Tuesday at 5:30.
FORWARD DAY BY DAY – The Jul/Aug/Sep issue of Forward Day by Day, a booklet of daily meditations, has arrived. You may pick one up from the usher’s table at chruch, or else email Jay at office@stbenslososos.org and ask him to mail one to you. The meditations are also available on-line at www.prayer.forwardmovement.org
VIRTUAL COFFEE HOUR –For those watching at home, the Zoom room is available between 11:30-12:30 on Sundays for informal no-host conversations.
DAILY PAUSINGS Join us for Pausings – a few minutes of reflection with Caro+ posted most every day at about 7pm on St. Benedict’s Facebook page. These few minutes of poetry, psalms, and prayers are a great way to end your day, or access anytime.
