The irrepressible Dolly Levi is coming to Los Osos on Saturday afternoon, May 9th at 3pm when the Central Coast Reader’s Theatre performs “The Matchmaker” by Thornton Wilder. The venue for this merriment is St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church, located at the corner of Los Osos Valley and Clark Valley Roads. Follow Dolly as she tries to nab Horace Vandergelder in marriage, while two young men find the loves of their lives in a trip from Yonkers to 1890’s New York City. The performance will be followed by a Mother’s Day Tea, featuring savory and sweet treats.
The cast includes Los Osos residents Scott Danielson, Terri Fisher, John Horsley, Alan Kiste, Dru Riker, Sarah Chesebro, Mary Walker and Pat Snodgrass The play is directed by local theatre veteran, Jonniepat Mobley.
