See you then.

HOLLISTER INSTITUTE: ADVENT STUDY starts Dec 1 This year we will be preparing for Advent together by using a study guide prepared by Amy-Jill Levine. In Light of the World: A Beginner’s Guide to Advent, Jewish biblical scholar Levine explores the biblical texts surrounding the story of the birth of Jesus. The study will be on Tuesday mornings at 10:15 on Zoom, beginning December 1st. Materials include a video which we will watch together, and a participant’s book which you will want to purchase.  Contact Caro+ to order a copy of the book.    If you would like to participate but cannot do so at that time, we can explore a second group meeting. Speak with Caro+. Some of you have experienced Levine’s work before but if you have not, you can get a feel for her style and the study material by watching the video for the first session, available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zUjI-08FhI
