CandlelightSt. Ben’s is hosting a string quartet concert featuring four local professional musicians coming together in response to the recent Orlando shooting. The program will be a combination of favorite classics by Bach and Mozart and some popular songs arranged by violinist Bette Byers.

In addition to Ms. Byers, who has a long Hollywood career, Candlelight Strings includes Julliard-trained Dr. Maurice Sklar on violin, local favorite Jeanne Shumway on cello with Sal Garza, who was classically trained by Morro Bay’s Botso Korisheli.

The cost is $15, with proceeds going to support St. Ben’s ministries and the local LGBTQ community through the GALA center.

Co-sponsored by Waste Connection.
