Sunday, 8 – 8:50 am, Eucharist*

This quiet, informal service is held indoors at the church for anyone wishing to attend in person.  Masks are required, and we will continue to ask people to maintain social distancing. The service includes time for silent reflection on the Bible Readings. Instead of a sermon, we share together our questions and insights about the readings. There are no hymns and the prayers use contemporary language. Service leaflets are available here: https://www.stbenslososos.org/category/service-bulletin/

Also the 8:00 am service will also be available on Zoom:

Sunday, 10:30 – 11:45 am, Eucharist*

Our main service includes hymns, Bible readings, a short sermon, traditional prayers and communion. This service will be held indoors at the church for anyone wishing to attend in person.  Masks are required, and we will continue to ask people to maintain social distancing by having no more than three people per pew. Service leaflets are available here: https://www.stbenslososos.org/category/service-bulletin/

The 10:30 am service will also be live-streamed for those who watch remotely — on Facebook at  www.facebook.com/stbenslososos/  or through our website at  http://www.stbenslososos.org/facebook-including-live-stream/

*Followed by a time of informal conversation over refreshments.

Tuesday, 5:30 – 6:10 pm, Vespers

From the ancient monastic tradition comes this service of the ‘vesper light’ or twilight. We use a simple form of prayer created by the Iona community and share our thoughts on the Bible reading of the day and how God is speaking to us through it.

Vespers is also available on Zoom:
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/7977776046?pwd=VUFZSXY3UVpNVitJaDl2VmhPS3E2UT09    Passcode is: 93402

*On most Tuesdays the vespers service is followed by a simple gathering with refreshments and snacks.

* Eucharist is a traditional term for holy communion. It comes from the Greek word for thanksgiving and helps us to remember that this is a joyful service of thanksgiving to the Creator.
