Our Leadership
Priest-in-Charge
The Rev. Caroline Hall (‘Caro’) is a graduate of the Church Divinity School of the Pacific (CDSP). She grew up in the Church of England and had a varied career in social work, education and business in England, Scotland and the US before ordination. She is currently pursuing postgraduate work through the University of Leeds, UK.
Rector Emeritus
The Rev. Mary Elizabeth Pratt-Horsley is also a graduate of CDSP. She is a gifted linguist who has lived in both Mexico and France and is fluent in Spanish and French. Mary Elizabeth was rector of St Benedict’s from 2001 to 2006 and is now enjoying a very active ‘retirement’.
Associate Priest
The Rev. Faye Hogan serves as a chaplain at CHW French Hospital Medical Center in San Luis Obispo. A graduate of Episcopal Theological School at Claremont, she was associate priest at St Paul’s, Ventura prior to coming to Los Osos. Faye also has a varied background in business and education.
Vestry
The church is led by a group of dedicated members who together with the Priest-in-Charge are responsible for managing all aspects of the church’s life.
Serving us this year are: Judy Schloss (Senior Warden), Don Shields (Junior Warden), Steve Cake Maria Kelly, Sally Somers, and John Horseley (Clerk).
Treasurer
Lisa Gonzales is our bookkeeper as well as Treasurer.
